AI Solutions Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Design comprehensive AI solution architectures for client projects, guiding them from problem identification to deployment in production.

• Construct and execute RAG pipelines, agentic workflows, and multi-agent systems utilizing frameworks such as LangChain and LangGraph.

• Engineer data pipelines and integration patterns that connect AI functionalities to client systems and data sources.

• Integrate agents with enterprise systems using standards like Model Context Protocol (MCP).

• Create reusable components, skills, templates, and accelerators for various engagements.

• Collaborate with project leaders, consultants, and subject matter experts to convert business requirements into technical specifications and solution designs.

• Aid in the internal product development of MGT’s AI tool suite.

• Present technical architectures and solution suggestions to leadership and client stakeholders.

• Engage in discovery sessions and workshops to pinpoint high-impact AI use cases.

• Travel occasionally to an MGT office or client site based on business requirements.

• Lead the technical delivery of projects and mentor team members on AI solution patterns.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of three (3) years of professional experience.

• A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience is required.

• Hands-on experience in LLM-based application development, retrieval-augmented generation architectures, agentic design patterns, prompt engineering, or vector databases.

• Strong technical problem-solving skills and a proven record of creating practical solutions in real-world operating environments.

• Capability to translate operational challenges into effective AI architectures.

• Quick learning ability for new technical capabilities, platforms, frameworks, and deployment patterns.

• Excellent communication skills to collaborate with consultants, clients, executive leadership, and technical teams.

• Proficient in independently scoping, architecting, and delivering technical solutions with minimal supervision.

• Familiarity with RAG pipelines, agentic workflows, prompt engineering, cloud deployment, and AI solution architecture.

• Preferred experience in consulting, professional services, or client-facing technical delivery.

• Preferred background in data architecture, ETL/ELT pipelines, or analytics platforms.

• Preferred programming experience in Python or similar languages.

• Preferred experience with cloud-based AI services on any major platform.
