This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States, +1 more country.
• Take ownership of the product vision, architecture, and implementation for Freehand’s AI Teams focused on Spend Management.
• Define and implement self-sufficient procure-to-pay workflows.
• Lead various use cases such as invoice validation and matching, vendor onboarding and collaboration, contract and compliance management, dispute resolution, and cross-border payments and remittances.
• Establish agent design patterns that encompass multi-capability prompting, tool orchestration, retrieval pipelines, fallback logic, and policy hierarchies.
• Guarantee comprehensive observability through monitoring agent health, performance, confidence scoring, and decision auditability.
• Collaborate with AI/ML and data engineering teams to develop closed-loop training pipelines and evaluation datasets.
• Promote continuous improvement through human-in-the-loop feedback, signal instrumentation, and structured reasoning.
• Enhance high-fidelity user experiences for AI interactions across user interfaces, email, chat, and APIs.
• Facilitate technical discussions with enterprise architects and strategic dialogues with CFOs, CIOs, and Chief Procurement Officers at Fortune 100 companies.
• Create product requirement documents (PRDs), solution briefs, and agent blueprints.
• Present product demos to both internal and external stakeholders.
• 4–6 years of experience in B2B product management.
• A minimum of 2 years working on initial product launches.
• Proven experience in launching agentic AI products.
• Familiarity with multi-agent systems featuring explicit roles and policies that reflect enterprise authorization.
• Strong grasp of AI evaluation methods, including factuality, grounding, latency, and minimizing hallucinations.
• Experience in enhancing agent accuracy and reliability in production environments.
• Demonstrated experience working with enterprise-level data systems, including invoice data, procurement records, contract metadata, and foreign exchange/tax engines.
• A deep appreciation for data governance, sensitivity, and compliance.
• Flexible remote work arrangements with a travel-first approach.
• Ability to work from anywhere in the US and India.
• Fully-funded trips to the headquarters in Chennai as needed.
