AI Product Engineer, Finance Systems – Full Stack, Next.js, Supabase

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil, +5 more states.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and deploy internal tools, applications, dashboards, and automation solutions that enhance Koin’s operations, revenue, margin, and efficiency.

• Manage features from an approved Statement of Work through the Technical Design Document, development, testing, and final deployment.

• Create Next.js applications hosted on Vercel, utilizing Supabase as the data layer, n8n for workflow orchestration, and GitHub for version control.

• Integrate internal tools with systems such as NetSuite, Shopify, Patchworks, and other business applications.

• Identify and prioritize manual, repetitive, or inefficient processes suitable for automation.

• Design, construct, and maintain Claude-powered automations along with multi-step n8n workflows.

• Develop and implement agent-based architectures, which include sub-agents and orchestration agents.

• Create reusable prompt templates, Claude Projects, custom skills, and automation patterns.

• Design and conduct AI training programs, guides, video walkthroughs, and reference documentation.

• Offer one-on-one coaching and ad-hoc support across various departments.

• Develop and enhance prompting strategies while maintaining a library of tested prompts.

• Troubleshoot prompt performance issues, hallucinations, and inconsistencies in outputs.

• Contribute to Koin’s AI adoption roadmap and strategic initiatives.

• Research and assess AI tools, models, and capabilities.

• Provide insights on build-vs-buy decisions for AI-powered tools and integrations.

• Collaborate with marketing, operations, finance, customer service, e-commerce, and Systems & Data teams.

• Report progress, impact, and insights to leadership on a regular basis.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in delivering production web applications utilizing AI-accelerated development, with tangible examples.

• Extensive hands-on expertise with Claude Code, Claude Chat, and Claude Cowork.

• Strong experience with Supabase, covering Postgres data modeling, Row Level Security policies, and edge functions.

• Familiarity with deploying and managing Next.js applications on Vercel.

• Disciplined approach to GitHub workflow that encompasses branching strategies, pull requests, and Vercel preview/production environments.

• Experience in constructing and managing n8n workflows, including error handling and API/webhook integrations.

• Ability to interpret and reason about AI-generated TypeScript and SQL code.

• Capability to produce Technical Design Documents that address architecture, data models, and security considerations.

• Experience in designing and constructing agent-based workflows, including sub-agents and orchestration agents.

• Familiarity with Agile methodologies, including sprint planning, daily standups, and sprint increments.

• Strong prompt engineering skills for crafting, testing, and iterating complex prompts.

• Proficiency in working with REST APIs, webhooks, OAuth, and JSON.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Strong written and verbal English skills, with the capability to create clear documentation and training materials.

• Ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

• Self-motivated and structured working style, able to manage tasks independently in a remote setting aligned with UK business hours.

• Demonstrated curiosity and commitment to continuous improvement.

• Desirable: formal software development background, experience with NetSuite, Patchworks, MCP, other AI platforms and models, Shopify, e-commerce operations, and D2C or multi-brand retail.
