AI Product Designer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Europe.

📋 Description

• Engage with customers, evaluate usage data, and identify opportunities.

• Determine the value of projects and prioritize initiatives accordingly.

• Prepare product briefs that detail the problem, target audience, success metrics, scope, and exclusions.

• Develop workflows, interactions, visuals, and specifications for AI behavior, including prompts, outputs, confidence levels, errors, and recovery methods.

• Construct working prototypes utilizing AI tools and test them with actual inputs and users.

• Create clear, build-ready engineering tickets that include acceptance criteria.

• Collaborate with engineering teams during delivery, make scope decisions, and assess results against design goals.

• Monitor post-launch outcomes and determine the next steps for iteration.

• Establish quality standards for AI outputs.

• Ensure a consistent design language throughout the product ecosystem.

• Within the first 30 days, grasp products and customer needs, identify three significant AI opportunities, and prototype at least one.

• Within 90 days, lead a project from discovery to shipment and assist teams in defining how AI should function in their products.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in product development, showing a complete process from problem identification to outcome delivery.

• Proficient in product management skills, including discovery, prioritization, briefs, ticket creation, and collaborating with engineers through the delivery process.

• Practical experience in designing with or for AI technologies.

• Regular use of AI tools in personal work.

• Experience in e-commerce, covering checkout, conversion, payments, and perspectives from both merchants and buyers.

• Preferred: experience with SaaS, marketing tools, or products within the creator economy.

• Preferred: front-end development skills adequate for creating functional prototypes in code.

• Preferred: experience in building marketplaces or two-sided platforms.
