This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Oversee the creation, animation, and editing of motion assets for digital campaigns, websites, social media platforms, presentations, events, and sales enablement programs.
• Craft storyboards, visual concepts, animatics, and motion treatments to enhance brand storytelling, product marketing, and promotional materials.
• Edit raw footage, graphics, audio, voiceovers, music, and effects to produce refined video content.
• Develop 2D and 3D animations, kinetic typography, explainer videos, social cutdowns, GIFs, product demonstrations, hype reels, and short-form campaign materials.
• Utilize editorial judgment regarding pacing, structure, narrative flow, sound design, visual hierarchy, and audience engagement.
• Ensure that motion and video outputs adhere to client brand guidelines, accessibility standards, creative direction, and delivery specifications.
• Leverage AI-powered tools for motion design, video editing, prototyping, concept development, and asset generation.
• Construct visual prototypes using AI-generated footage, style frames, motion references, synthetic scenes, and generated B-roll.
• Formulate and enhance prompts that convert creative direction into visual, motion, and video outputs.
• Assess AI-generated outputs and decide what to retain, enhance, or manually recreate.
• Assist with AI-assisted content versioning, localization, adaptation, and personalization.
• Create responsible, brand-safe, and enterprise-ready practices for AI motion and video production.
• Collaborate with Creative, Content, Strategy, Production, and Technology teams to enhance quality, speed, scalability, and creative variety.
• Contribute to consistent motion and video workflows aligned with Intercept’s AI-native operating model.
• Support experimentation with synthetic presenters, AI-assisted product videos, generative brand systems, modular motion assets, and B2B storytelling.
• Work alongside creative directors, art directors, designers, writers, strategists, account teams, producers, freelancers, and external videographers.
• Engage in brainstorming sessions and creative reviews.
• Clearly communicate creative decisions, production needs, risks, timelines, and AI workflow suggestions.
• Assist the Associate Art Director and Creative team with broader design and campaign projects.
• Educate teammates on the potential of motion, video, and AI production through examples, demonstrations, and support.
• Manage multiple motion and video projects with varying timelines, formats, stakeholders, and complexity.
• Take ownership of deliverables from concept to final export.
• Adhere to project plans, deadlines, review cycles, and production limitations.
• Keep organized files, templates, project structures, prompts, source assets, and version histories.
• Produce high-quality work under pressure while maintaining meticulous attention to detail.
• A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in motion design, animation, video editing, or video production.
• A strong portfolio showcasing high-quality motion design, editing, visual storytelling, and digital content production.
• Advanced skills in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly After Effects, Premiere Pro, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
• Strong proficiency in Figma.
• Familiarity with web-native or interactive animation tools such as Spline, Rive, Lottie, Ceros, or similar platforms.
• Experience utilizing AI-powered creative tools like Runway, Adobe Firefly, Midjourney, Luma, Pika, Stable Diffusion, Kling, Sora, or similar platforms.
• Comprehensive understanding of motion principles, typography, composition, rhythm, visual hierarchy, brand systems, and storytelling.
• Capability to interpret creative briefs and convert strategic direction into engaging motion and video assets.
• Exceptional communication, organizational, and collaborative abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deliver high-quality results in a fast-paced agency setting.
