AI Infrastructure Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Japan.

📋 Description

• Oversee and manage production AI infrastructure environments

• Lead efforts for incident response and troubleshooting

• Ensure prompt service restoration during outages or performance issues

• Diagnose infrastructure and networking challenges across both bare-metal and cloud environments with various vendors

• Perform root cause analysis and promote product and operational enhancements

• Contribute to and refine operational documentation and the knowledge base

• Collaborate with global team members across different time zones to maintain continuous operational coverage

• Be available to work during weekends and holidays as needed

• Engage hands-on with Kubernetes-based AI infrastructure in a production setting

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in managing and operating large-scale production systems (both bare-metal and cloud)

• Strong practical knowledge of Kubernetes with proven troubleshooting capabilities

• Familiarity with configuring, customizing, and extending logging and monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or similar

• Experience with infrastructure automation technologies and Infrastructure-as-Code practices, such as Ansible, Terraform, or similar

• Proficient verbal and written communication skills in English

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, capable of navigating complex and ambiguous technical challenges

• Readiness to occasionally work on weekends and holidays
