AI Infrastructure Design Engineer IV

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Oversee extensive and intricate infrastructure design projects across various data centers or regions.

• Establish and uphold engineering standards, design methodologies, and best operational practices.

• Offer technical guidance for significant infrastructure upgrades, migrations, and expansion initiatives.

• Guide senior engineers and spearhead technical knowledge-sharing programs.

• Evaluate and authorize critical infrastructure designs and engineering decisions.

• Promote innovation and ongoing enhancement in data center design processes and technologies.

• Collaborate with leadership teams on capacity planning, strategic roadmap formulation, and operational planning.

• Manage high-priority escalations while providing expert-level troubleshooting assistance.

• Assist in vendor assessments, technical reviews, and architecture governance processes.

• Lead multiple teams, programs, or highly strategic projects.

• Manage enterprise-scale and mission-critical initiatives.

• Shape technical direction and organizational standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• In-depth knowledge of data center infrastructure and architecture.

• Over 10 years of industry experience showcasing proven technical leadership.

• Excellent leadership, mentoring, and stakeholder management abilities.

• Experience in overseeing large-scale infrastructure programs.

• Relevant certifications are preferred (CCNA, PMP, Autodesk, ITIL, etc.).
