AI Full Stack Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.

📋 Description

• Develop and expand AI products as a member of the AI-LAB team.

• Create and sustain Next.js frontend functionalities utilizing TypeScript, SWR, Tailwind, a component-driven design system, and support for internationalization.

• Design, implement, and manage NestJS RESTful APIs for authentication, data processing, billing, usage tracking, and orchestration of AI workflows.

• Take ownership of backend services from end-to-end, covering schema design and migrations to deployment and observability.

• Integrate and uphold third-party SDKs and APIs for payment processing, authentication, analytics, and messaging solutions.

• Develop AI agents and tools utilizing the Claude SDK and Model Context Protocol (MCP).

• Participate in the design and review of Prisma and PostgreSQL schema migrations.

• Implement and manage feature flags, A/B testing, and analytics events.

• Handle webhooks and asynchronous task processing for critical payment and PII-handling code paths.

• Work alongside AI product managers and AI specialists to convert requirements into scalable features.

• Collaborate on application deployment and the maintenance of cloud infrastructure.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive proficiency in TypeScript across both frontend and backend environments.

• Strong background in React and Next.js App Router, including Server Components, route handlers, streaming, metadata, i18n, and contemporary data-fetching patterns like SWR.

• Solid experience in constructing production REST APIs with NestJS or similar Node frameworks such as Express or Fastify.

• Familiarity with NestJS modules, dependency injection, guards, interceptors, and DTO validation.

• Experience with PostgreSQL and an ORM like Prisma.

• Competent in writing and reviewing migrations, understanding transactions, and designing schemas that evolve safely.

• Experience in integrating third-party SDKs and APIs.

• Proficient in managing webhooks, idempotency, retries, and asynchronous fulfillment.

• Genuine passion for AI products and a proactive approach to introducing new techniques and tools to the team.

• Proactive, creative, collaborative, pragmatic, and willing to challenge existing assumptions.

• Ability to quickly learn new tools and platforms.

• Nice to have: experience with payment/subscription systems.

• Nice to have: familiarity with pnpm workspaces, Turborepo, or Nx.

• Nice to have: experience with BigQuery and event-pipeline analytics.

• Nice to have: familiarity with Tailwind and component-driven design systems.

• Nice to have: knowledge of Google Cloud Platform.
