AI Frontend Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia, +6 more countries.

📋 Description

• Develop and enhance user-oriented AI products, encompassing copilot and agent-like interfaces, conversational interactions, live responses, and human-in-the-loop review interfaces.

• Create and uphold the design system and web components utilized across Yuno's applications and by external partners.

• Construct and advance internal back-office tools that facilitate operational efficiency among teams.

• Integrate LLM APIs such as OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, or similar services, along with backend services into the frontend, managing streaming, latency, and error conditions.

• Produce reusable, testable, and efficient code, incorporating unit tests, end-to-end tests, and CI/CD practices.

• Collaborate with AI, data, backend, and product teams to convert complex AI functionalities into straightforward and actionable UI components.

• Advocate for an AI-first engineering culture through AI-assisted development, code generation, and automated testing practices.

• Ensure that shipped products meet performance, accessibility, and security standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• 2+ years of professional experience in developing production web applications using React and TypeScript.

• Strong foundational knowledge in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Node.js, and modern development tools (Git, NPM or Yarn, Next.js, Storybook or similar).

• Proven experience in integrating REST and streaming APIs, including LLM APIs, into frontend applications.

• Demonstrated capability in unit testing, end-to-end testing, and CI/CD methodologies.

• Practical experience with AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, or GitHub Copilot, along with an understanding of prompt engineering and evaluating model outputs in the UI.

• Ability to work autonomously and thrive in a fast-paced agile environment.

• Professional proficiency in English.

• Experience in creating interfaces for AI agents or copilot-style features in a production setting.

• Familiarity with Nest.js, Emotion, AWS services (S3, Amplify), and Docker.

• Knowledge of the payments industry or experience integrating Payment Service Providers.

• Understanding of backend languages and a willingness to work across the stack as necessary.
