This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Configure and support projects in Azure AI Foundry, including model deployments, access controls, quotas, and telemetry.
• Implement private networking solutions, private endpoints, DNS, managed identities, Key Vault integration, and role-based access management.
• Develop monitoring and reporting systems for usage, token consumption, capacity, cost allocation, safety events, and overall service health.
• Facilitate secure integrations between AI services, developer tools, AVD/Codex access patterns, and authorized enterprise systems.
• Automate environment configurations and promote consistent deployment patterns using approved infrastructure and release methodologies.
• Create operational runbooks, troubleshooting guides, and knowledge transfer documents for platform support teams.
• Operate autonomously or in a leadership role, select persistence technologies, define source control approaches, and design subsystem infrastructure.
• Oversee cross-functional delivery efforts and enhance system reliability and scalability.
• Enforce standards through comprehensive reviews and establish productivity benchmarks.
• Provide functional leadership, mediate conflicts, and engage with both internal and external stakeholders.
• Troubleshoot complex client issues, assist in requirements gathering, and contribute to vendor presentations or proposal activities.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in Azure engineering, covering networking, identity management, monitoring, and secure PaaS delivery.
• Practical experience with Azure AI Foundry, Azure OpenAI, Azure Machine Learning, or similar AI application platforms.
• Familiarity with Entra ID, managed identities, private endpoints, Key Vault, Log Analytics, and Azure Cost Management.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot issues across application, network, identity, and cloud-platform layers.
• Strong scripting or automation skills, particularly using PowerShell, Azure CLI, Python, or equivalent languages.
• Experience in delivering solutions in Azure Government or regulated environments.
• Knowledge of LLM observability, AI safety controls, prompt management, or token governance.
• Azure Administrator or Azure Developer certification is preferred.
