This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Enhance the systems that drive SeatGeek’s technology ecosystem.
• Develop foundational infrastructure involving core computing, infrastructure as code, databases, and network systems.
• Tackle challenges related to scaling, workflow automation, and resilience during peak ticket sales.
• Create and sustain developer tools aimed at improving application observability and reliability.
• Design robust, observable networking infrastructure across various regions.
• Collaborate with different departments on production systems and autonomous deployment initiatives.
• Facilitate deployment, configuration, routing, monitoring, and scalability across the entire stack.
• Utilize AI tools while upholding SeatGeek’s technical and product standards.
• Mentor and guide team members.
• Join an on-call rotation to assist customers.
• Proven experience in developing business-critical software in a dynamic environment.
• Demonstrated ability to resolve intricate technical challenges.
• Proficiency with Kubernetes, containers, and serverless computing platforms.
• Practical experience with continuous integration, delivery, testing, and code deployment processes.
• Familiarity with observability tools used to enhance performance and predict growth.
• Experience in refining system architecture, identifying limitations, and implementing data-driven recommendations.
• Strong passion for software craftsmanship and product excellence.
• High expectations for code quality and dependable infrastructure.
• Knowledge of various tools and technologies, including Go, C#, Python, Bash, Kubernetes, Docker, ECS/Fargate, Lambda, Postgres, SQL Server, Memcache, Redis, Elasticsearch, Kafka, Flink, Airflow, Temporal, Cilium, Consul, Envoy, CoreDNS, DataDog, PagerDuty, Chef, Ansible, Vault, CloudFormation, Terraform, AWS, Git, and GitLab CI.
