AI Engineering Lead

📋 Description

• Collaborate with business leaders to discover opportunities for AI, automation, and intelligent systems that enhance customer experience, operational efficiency, decision-making, and overall business performance.

• Convert organizational priorities into a pipeline of high-impact AI and automation projects.

• Assist in the development and execution of the AI and automation roadmap.

• Ensure that AI and automation investments are in line with business priorities and deliver measurable returns.

• Oversee the entire lifecycle of AI-enabled solutions, workflows, and automation capabilities, including design, development, deployment, and scaling.

• Architect and integrate AI solutions across enterprise applications, data platforms, and operational systems.

• Create scalable, secure, and maintainable solutions for real-world business challenges.

• Balance innovation and delivery speed with technical sustainability, risk management, and strategic needs.

• Direct technical decision-making across AI, analytics, and process improvement initiatives.

• Uphold engineering standards through architecture, code, and technical evaluations.

• Advocate for the adoption of automation, AI, and intelligent working practices.

• Identify opportunities to streamline processes, minimize manual effort, enhance controls, and improve decision quality.

• Promote responsible adoption of emerging AI technologies and best practices.

• Ensure that initiatives are successfully operationalized and achieve their intended outcomes.

• Mentor engineers through hands-on guidance, pair-building, and technical evaluations.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical field is required.

• Strong grasp of artificial intelligence, automation, machine learning, analytics, and emerging technologies.

• Solid understanding of business process improvement, operational systems, and principles of digital transformation.

• Good knowledge of enterprise systems, integrations, software engineering, and technology platforms.

• Strong comprehension of customer-centric design and technology adoption principles.

• In-depth understanding of the organization’s operating model, customer journeys, and strategic priorities.

• Strong capabilities in AI engineering, automation engineering, and software development.

• Proven experience in building and deploying production-grade AI, automation, and intelligent workflow solutions.

• Strong skills in solution design, systems thinking, and workflow orchestration.

• Significant experience with API, integration, middleware, and enterprise systems integration.

• Experience in integrating AI capabilities into business processes, enterprise systems, and operational workflows.

• Ability to translate business challenges into effective AI and automation solutions.

• Ability to assess technical trade-offs and guide solution design decisions.

• Strong analytical, experimentation, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to evaluate emerging technologies and identify practical business applications.

• Proven track record of personally building and deploying production-grade AI and automation solutions.
