AI Engineer – .NET, Azure AI

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Portugal.

📋 Description

• Develop, troubleshoot, manage, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.

• Design innovative digital products that enhance and simplify people's lives.

• Construct orchestration and backend APIs utilizing .NET/C#.

• Engage with Azure OpenAI, OpenAI, ChatGPT-class models, and generative AI pipelines.

• Implement solutions for summarization, extraction, filtering, and speech-to-text/transcription.

• Employ RAG and AI search methodologies.

• Utilize Agentic AI tools to expedite code development, refactoring, and complex debugging.

• Comprehend and work with Transformer-based model architectures and Machine Learning concepts.

• Deploy or integrate AI models into production APIs, pipelines, or backend systems.

• Collaborate with engineering and product development teams on international projects.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 3 years of experience in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or related software engineering positions.

• Educational background in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related discipline.

• Significant professional experience with .NET/C# (.NET Core, .NET 6/8), particularly in building orchestration and backend APIs.

• Practical experience with Azure OpenAI / OpenAI / ChatGPT-class models (GPT-4-level).

• Proficiency in generative AI for summarization, extraction, filtering, and speech-to-text/transcription pipelines.

• Knowledge of patterns such as RAG and AI search methodologies.

• Exceptional skill in Agentic AI tools like Cursor IDE and GitHub Copilot.

• Comprehensive understanding of Transformer-based model architectures and foundational Machine Learning principles.

• Experience in deploying or integrating AI models into production settings.

• Analytical mindset with a strong problem-solving capability.

• Proven experience working alongside engineering and product development teams.

• Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.

• Must reside in Portugal or be legally eligible and willing to relocate and work there.
