AI Engineer – .NET, Azure AI

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Portugal.

• Design and develop groundbreaking digital products that enhance and simplify everyday life.

• Create orchestration and backend APIs utilizing .NET/C#.

• Construct generative AI solutions for summarization, extraction, filtering, and speech-to-text/transcription.

• Leverage Agentic AI tools to expedite code development, refactoring, and intricate debugging.

• Deploy or integrate AI models into production APIs, pipelines, and backend systems.

• Collaborate with diverse engineering and product development teams.

• Work on various projects across multiple industries for global clients.

• Take part in mentoring, performance evaluations, knowledge-sharing sessions, and collective celebrations.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of professional experience in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or related software engineering positions.

• Educational background in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a similar discipline.

• Robust professional expertise in .NET/C# (.NET Core, .NET 6/8), particularly in developing orchestration and backend APIs.

• Practical experience with Azure OpenAI / OpenAI / ChatGPT-class models (GPT-4o-level).

• Familiarity with generative AI applications for summarization, extraction, filtering, and speech-to-text/transcription processes.

• Knowledge of methodologies such as RAG and AI search patterns.

• Exceptional skills in Agentic AI tools like Cursor IDE and GitHub Copilot.

• Comprehensive understanding of Transformer-based model architectures and fundamental Machine Learning concepts.

• Experience in deploying or integrating AI models into production environments (APIs, pipelines, or backend systems).

• Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving capabilities.

• Background in collaborating with engineering and product development teams.

• Proficiency in English, both spoken and written.

• Must reside in Portugal or possess legal qualifications and be willing to live and work there.
