AI Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Design and develop scalable Generative AI and agentic AI applications from start to finish.

• Create workflows powered by LLMs and devise prompt strategies for self-learning, multi-agent systems.

• Construct intelligent AI agents utilizing LangChain and LangGraph for NL-to-SQL, autonomous task agents, and RAG pipelines.

• Choose, customize, fine-tune, and enhance state-of-the-art LLMs.

• Design and manage complete ML/GenAI pipelines, encompassing training, deployment, monitoring, and lifecycle management.

• Develop APIs, microservices, and integration frameworks to incorporate AI into enterprise products.

• Advocate for responsible AI practices by addressing hallucinations, bias, and reliability concerns.

• Collaborate with customers, product teams, and engineering to convert business requirements into solid AI architecture.

• Mentor engineers and contribute to the long-term strategy of the AI platform.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 6 years of experience in traditional ML, with a minimum of 2 years working directly with Generative AI.

• Extensive experience with LLMs (such as GPT), prompt engineering, and agentic systems.

• Practical experience with LangChain/LangGraph or similar agentic frameworks.

• Strong proficiency in Python — including API wrappers, third-party integrations, and internal tools.

• Solid understanding of Transformers, CNNs, RNNs; hands-on experience with TensorFlow, PyTorch, and Scikit-learn.

• Experience in NLP, embedding models, and vector databases.

• Practical experience with OpenAI, Llama/Llama2, Azure OpenAI, and various open-source models.

• Experience in designing distributed, cloud-native architectures, including microservices and REST APIs.

• Proficient in AWS, Azure, or GCP, along with Docker/Kubernetes.

• Experience in MLOps/LLMOps — covering training, deployment, monitoring, and lifecycle management.

• Exceptional communication skills with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment with a strong sense of ownership.

• Preferred: Experience in LLM fine-tuning using LoRA, RLHF, or PEFT.

• Preferred: Skills in performance optimization leveraging GPU/TPU acceleration, quantization, pruning, or distillation.

• Preferred: Experience with AI observability and monitoring tools.

• Preferred: Knowledge of AI governance and compliance, including GDPR and SOC 2.

• Preferred: Prior consulting or solution-architecture experience in delivering enterprise AI products.

• Preferred: Background in financial services, healthcare, or insurance.
