AI Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and implement machine learning and AI systems for practical applications.

• Create and enhance custom AI models tailored to specific tasks within the domain.

• Design and uphold data mining, data preprocessing, and data-labeling workflows.

• Manage large datasets, focusing on feature engineering and data preparation.

• Utilize machine learning techniques in areas such as LLMs, NLP, computer vision, and other AI fields.

• Train, assess, refine, and advance machine learning models.

• Establish and maintain model deployment and MLOps workflows.

• Deploy and serve models utilizing cloud platforms and containerized environments.

• Employ tools like Docker, Git, and relevant MLOps platforms within collaborative development processes.

• Evaluate model performance and pinpoint areas for enhancement.

• Convey technical ideas and project updates to non-technical stakeholders.

⛳️ Requirements

• 2–5 years of practical experience in building and deploying ML/AI models in production settings.

• Strong expertise in Python programming.

• Hands-on experience with PyTorch and/or TensorFlow.

• Experience in designing and architecting custom AI models.

• Familiarity with LLMs, NLP, computer vision, and other AI domains.

• Solid understanding of supervised and unsupervised learning, deep learning frameworks, optimization techniques, and evaluation metrics.

• Proficiency in data preprocessing, feature engineering, data mining, and data-labeling pipelines.

• Knowledge of MLOps tools and model deployment platforms such as MLflow, Kubeflow, or SageMaker.

• Understanding of cloud platforms and services for model training and serving, such as AWS Lambda.

• Experience with Docker for containerized model deployment.

• Familiarity with Git and collaborative software development methodologies.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Capability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

• A curiosity-driven mindset and the ability to thrive in ambiguous situations.
