AI Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Argentina.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and implement applications and solutions powered by AI.

• Create solutions utilizing Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), and Machine Learning technologies.

• Develop and incorporate AI agents, APIs, and intelligent automation processes.

• Construct solutions using Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), embeddings, vector databases, and prompt engineering techniques.

• Integrate AI models and services from providers such as OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, AWS, Azure, or equivalent sources.

• Create prototypes and Proofs of Concept (POCs), transforming successful trials into production-ready solutions.

• Assess and enhance AI solutions for accuracy, reliability, performance, scalability, and cost-effectiveness.

• Work collaboratively with Engineering, Product, and business stakeholders to identify potential AI opportunities.

• Incorporate AI capabilities into current applications, platforms, and workflows.

• Contribute to responsible AI practices, encompassing security, privacy, monitoring, and the appropriate use of AI systems.

• Keep abreast of emerging AI technologies, frameworks, tools, and industry best practices.

• Share expertise and contribute to the development of AI capabilities and best practices throughout the organization.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient programming skills, ideally in Python.

• Professional experience in Software Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data Science, or a related technical discipline.

• Practical experience in building applications that utilize Generative AI and Large Language Models (LLMs).

• Experience in integrating APIs and developing backend services.

• Knowledge of prompt engineering, RAG, embeddings, vector databases, and AI agents.

• Familiarity with AI frameworks and tools like LangChain, LlamaIndex, Hugging Face, or similar technologies.

• Experience with AI APIs and platforms such as OpenAI, Anthropic, Google Gemini, or comparable services.

• Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

• Understanding of Git, APIs, CI/CD, and contemporary software development methodologies.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Capability to work independently in a completely remote setup.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

• Intermediate to advanced proficiency in English.
