AI Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.

📋 Description

• Design and develop services based on language models using Python.

• Implement agents and workflows utilizing AI orchestration frameworks such as LangGraph or equivalent technologies.

• Ensure structured and validated outputs through defined schemas and quality control mechanisms.

• Create and maintain versioned and easily auditable prompts.

• Define evaluation and validation strategies for results in collaboration with business areas.

• Work alongside functional experts to analyze, clarify, and formalize complex business rules.

• Participate in the continuous improvement of the accuracy, robustness, and traceability of AI-based systems.

• Implement observability mechanisms and monitor model behavior.

• Systematically process information from emails, PDF documents, Word files, and scanned images.

⛳️ Requirements

• Between 3 to 5 years of experience in Generative AI.

• At least 2 years of experience working with language models in production environments with real users.

• Proficiency in Python 3.11 or higher.

• Experience with Pydantic v2 and structured data validation.

• Experience designing systems based on agents, workflows, or generative AI applications.

• Knowledge of validation techniques and quality control for responses generated by models.

• Ability to transform functional requirements into technical solutions.

• Highly valued: experience with LangGraph, pydantic-ai, LangChain, LlamaIndex, CrewAI, or other equivalent frameworks.

• Highly valued: Terraform (IaC) on client platform modules, remote state in S3, environment-specific workspaces, and state readings between repositories.

• Highly valued: ability to read and modify existing Terraform and diagnose remote states and locks.

• Highly valued: experience with AWS, specifically with AWS Lambda in a VPC.

• Valued: architectures based on ports and adapters or hexagonal architecture.

• Valued: model observability tools such as Langfuse, LangSmith, or Logfire.

• Valued: experience in extracting and processing information from unstructured documentation.

• Valued: participation in projects where the quality of AI responses has been measured through test sets agreed upon with the business.
