AI Deployment Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with clients to break down vague objectives into specific, actionable AI use cases.

• Assess data availability, identify relevant APIs or MCP sources, and secure necessary access.

• Utilize Gladly’s CLI to register APIs on the App Platform.

• Develop JavaScript app actions to convert API payloads for Gladly AI.

• Create workflows and documentation for Gladly’s AI.

• Oversee and enhance launched use cases, while also creating new ones to boost assist and resolution rates.

• Provide regular status updates to clients and internal teams.

• Collaborate with SAMs and Implementation Managers to synchronize objectives and timelines.

• Participate in QBRs and EBRs to showcase progress and deliver measurable customer value.

• Work with Solutions Engineering on pre-sales demonstrations.

• Engage Professional Services Engineering for intricate custom tasks.

• Report to the Manager of AI Delivery.

• Assist in the development of Gladly’s AI deployment playbook.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in a technical, customer-facing position such as technical account management, solutions or sales engineering, support engineering, professional services, or forward-deployed engineering, preferably in SaaS, AI, or CX technology.

• Proficient technical skills with API payloads, JavaScript, REST APIs, JSON, webhooks, and CLI.

• Strong skills in business analysis.

• Excellent English communication skills (C1-C2 / business fluent).

• Capability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

• A genuine interest in AI along with a talent for prompt engineering and workflow design.

• Strong sense of accountability and proactive attitude.

• Residing in Colombia, with the ability to work during core US business hours or with significant overlap.

• Experience in CX, contact center, or CX SaaS is a notable advantage.

• Experience in forward-deployed or deployment engineering at an AI company is a bonus.
