This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Develop and execute AI-driven outbound campaigns that yield qualified meetings for the CSO and business development team related to Sapient's discovery proteomics, metabolomics, targeted protein assay, and FFPE tumor proteomics services.
• Identify appropriate scientific personas for each service line and craft tailored messaging for leaders in translational medicine, biomarker development, clinical development, and target discovery within pharmaceutical and biotech companies.
• Create targeted prospect lists utilizing data from conferences and professional networks, while screening against CRM history and do-not-contact lists.
• Write and revise outreach content, web materials, and case studies in collaboration with the science team.
• Oversee quality control for campaigns and manage sequences, schedules, sender mailboxes, and test sends.
• Qualify responses from campaigns, address simple inquiries, schedule meetings, and follow up on discussions.
• Enhance online visibility through SEO, structured and machine-readable content, and generative engine optimization.
• Establish tracking and attribution, generate the monthly outreach performance dashboard, and keep the campaign calendar updated.
• Experiment with outreach variables and convert findings into targeting suggestions.
• Assist in conference and trade show participation, along with event follow-up campaigns.
• Ensure accurate maintenance of contact, response, and qualified lead records in Dynamics CRM.
• Enhance the outreach pipeline through updates to scripts, prompts, and documentation, and by standardizing best practices.
• Bachelor’s degree in a life science discipline (such as biology, biochemistry, bioengineering, or a related field) or equivalent practical experience in the life science sector.
• 1 to 3 years of experience in marketing, sales development, communications, or another commercial position within life sciences.
• Proficient in the daily use of AI assistants like Claude or ChatGPT, with a commitment to verifying outputs against source material.
• Comfortable with technology, including executing scripts, editing CSV and configuration files, and utilizing git and GitHub; formal software engineering experience is not mandatory.
• Familiarity with the organization of drug development and the interests of translational and biomarker teams.
• Strong marketing acumen and commercial intuition.
• Excellent writing skills and the ability to communicate confidently with senior scientists via email and phone.
• Highly detail-oriented with a strong ability to follow through on tasks.
• Resilient, self-motivated, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.
• Good judgment in handling confidential prospect data, CRM exports, and executive sending accounts.
• Proficient in spreadsheet applications (Excel or Google Sheets) and possess a working knowledge of SEO fundamentals.
• Experience with campaign or prospecting platforms, analytics tools, a CMS, a CRM, or Python is preferred but not essential.
