AI Data Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

📋 Description

• Construct, enhance, and refine UI components for internal annotation and data collection tools utilized by AI production teams.

• Design, streamline, and standardize comprehensive production workflows to boost operational efficiency.

• Create, sustain, and refresh analytical reports and interactive dashboards using Power BI.

• Develop Python scripts for data processing, pipeline automation, and enhancements to internal tools.

• Implement and oversee tooling updates using Azure cloud infrastructure and Azure DevOps, including CI/CD workflows.

• Collaborate with cross-functional production teams to identify operational challenges and provide effective, scalable solutions.

• Transform high-level, vague business requests into well-structured technical deliverables.

• Continuously enhance existing tools and processes to improve stability, usability, and team productivity.

⛳️ Requirements

• Mid-level technical expert.

• Minimum of 1 year of basic to intermediate experience in Python scripting and data processing.

• Conversational proficiency in English.

• Familiarity with Azure cloud platforms.

• Knowledge of Azure DevOps, including CI/CD and deployment processes.

• Experience in creating business reports and dashboards; proficiency in Power BI is preferred.

• Basic understanding of AI, LLMs, prompt engineering, or workflows related to AI training data.

• Exposure to AI-assisted coding tools, with a preference for Cursor.

• Practical experience in developing or enhancing internal tools, UI interfaces, or operational workflows.

• Prior experience in data annotation, data collection pipelines, or operations related to AI training data is a significant advantage.

• Exceptional cross-functional communication skills.
