AI Coach – Agentic Engineering

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Portugal.

📋 Description

• Collaborate closely with engineering teams to integrate AI-assisted and agentic development methodologies into everyday workflows.

• Mentor teams on achieving a balance between engineering quality, security, and maintainability while utilizing AI-assisted development.

• Work alongside engineering leadership to enhance delivery efficiency and productivity through AI tools, automation, and agent orchestration.

• Create prototypes, examples, and reference implementations that showcase agentic development patterns.

• Assist engineers in developing effective prompting, validation, and review methodologies.

• Support teams in assessing the impact of AI-assisted engineering practices on software delivery results.

• Contribute to the establishment of engineering practices, standards, and guidelines.

• Keep up-to-date with emerging agentic development techniques and identify avenues for organizational integration.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 6 years of professional experience in software engineering.

• Familiarity with agent orchestration frameworks and agentic development platforms.

• Experience with MCP-based tools and integrations.

• Proficient in creating reusable AI workflows, engineering accelerators, or developer productivity tools.

• Experience in facilitating the adoption of new technologies and engineering practices at scale, including organizing workshops, communities of practice, or technical enablement programs.

• Knowledge of Kubernetes, cloud-native platforms, and distributed systems.

• Experience with Kafka or event-driven architectures.

• Background in large-scale digital, retail, or eCommerce environments.
