This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.
• Assess AI functionalities integrated into essential systems, including Dynamics CRM, claims adjudication platforms, and document storage solutions.
• Analyze edge cases, anomalies, and failure patterns by examining raw data, logs, and system outputs.
• Work collaboratively with technical product owners and subject matter experts to document insights.
• Convert findings into user stories and product specifications.
• Engage in model and capability assessments.
• Deliver business-level validation of AI performance and identify gaps in functionality or alignment.
• Contribute to test scenarios and evaluation frameworks that reflect real-world applications and business requirements.
• Suggest enhancements to AI functionalities based on observed behavior, user input, and business context.
• Assist the AI Product Owner and QA team in establishing acceptance criteria and success metrics for new AI functionalities.
• Help ensure AI solutions are clear, reliable, and aligned with Allied’s operational objectives.
• Play a pivotal role in Allied’s AI delivery team.
• Carry out additional duties as assigned.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience is required.
• 8–12 years of experience in business analysis, quality assurance, or systems evaluation positions.
• Experience preferably within the insurance or administrative healthcare sector.
• Extensive knowledge in claims, health call centers, provider operations, or health plan management.
• Strong analytical skills with an ability to detect patterns, inconsistencies, or edge cases in complex systems.
• Capability to work with both structured and unstructured data, including logs, outputs, and raw files.
• Experience in writing user stories, test cases, and issue reports.
• Outstanding communication and collaboration abilities across both technical and non-technical teams.
• Familiarity with data inspection and analysis tools, such as Excel, SQL, and Power BI.
• Experience with log analysis and debugging tools such as Azure Monitor and Splunk.
• Exposure to API testing tools like Postman.
• Basic knowledge of scripting or query languages is advantageous.
• Experience with Agile collaboration tools, such as Freshservice or Azure DevOps.
• Familiarity with AI/ML systems and their evaluation is a bonus, but not mandatory.
• A reliable internet connection via cable broadband or fiber optic service with minimum speeds of 100Mbps download and 25Mbps upload is required.
