AI Augmented Software Engineer – Data Intelligence Platform

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in France.

📋 Description

• Design and develop new full-stack features for the Actian Data Intelligence Platform, encompassing backend services and frontend interfaces.

• Prioritize accuracy, performance, and maintainability in all aspects of development.

• Actively and purposefully utilize AI tools to expedite development, minimize boilerplate code, explore solutions, enhance testing, and concentrate on complex engineering challenges.

• Engage in technical design discussions and conduct code reviews with a focus on security.

• Participate in incident management and production troubleshooting activities.

• Disseminate knowledge through technical presentations, documentation, and best practices for AI-assisted development.

• Work closely with product managers to grasp requirements and convert them into well-defined technical solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience with AI coding assistants—such as Claude Code or Cursor—and the discernment to recognize their benefits and limitations.

• Experience in developing features for data governance, data catalogs, or metadata management platforms in a production environment is a significant advantage.

• Proven history as a fullstack engineer, effectively building and delivering features in production SaaS settings.

• End-to-end ownership in your past roles, rather than merely task execution.

• Strong practical expertise in Scala or Java for backend development, along with TypeScript and Angular for frontend work is a considerable plus.

• A genuine desire to learn and expand knowledge in different technologies.

• Solid comprehension of SaaS architecture and cloud fundamentals, particularly in the AWS environment.

• Proficient with Docker, Kubernetes, GitHub workflows, and CI/CD pipelines.

• A true agile mindset that values short feedback loops, iterative delivery, and collaborative problem-solving.

• Full professional proficiency in English.
