AI Architect, Agentic

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Netherlands.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, deploy, and support scalable AI and machine learning solutions tailored for enterprise applications.

• Create comprehensive end-to-end architectures that encompass data ingestion, preparation, model selection, orchestration, APIs, workflow integrations, user experiences, monitoring, and governance.

• Convert business requirements into technical designs and actionable delivery roadmaps.

• Develop predictive analytics, natural language processing (NLP), retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), intelligent automation, and agentic AI solutions.

• Set enterprise-wide AI standards, reference architectures, reusable patterns, and best practices.

• Facilitate technical discovery, lead architecture workshops, conduct design reviews, and present proof-of-concepts to clients.

• Implement Claude, the Anthropic API, and various applications powered by large language models (LLMs).

• Design secure RAG systems, document ingestion frameworks, vector search capabilities, tool usage, and workflow orchestration solutions.

• Create and implement agentic AI systems that include permissions, memory, approval gates, fallbacks, escalations, and human-in-the-loop controls.

• Integrate AI systems with ServiceNow, enterprise APIs, cloud services, databases, collaboration platforms, and operational systems.

• Develop, train, validate, deploy, and monitor machine learning models and data pipelines.

• Establish evaluation metrics, testing protocols, observability, monitoring, governance, privacy, security, and responsible AI controls.

• Design AI-enabled workflows in ServiceNow, as well as virtual agents, knowledge management, customer service, IT operations, and workflow automation use cases.

• Generate visualizations, dashboards, executive reports, and KPI frameworks using Tableau and Power BI.

• Collaborate with client stakeholders, NewRocket consultants, ServiceNow teams, data engineers, and AI/ML engineers.

• Travel to client sites and conferences as necessary.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of experience in AI, machine learning, data science, software engineering, or intelligent automation technologies applied to real-world enterprise scenarios.

• Strong programming skills in Python and SQL.

• Practical experience with TensorFlow, PyTorch, and Scikit-learn.

• Background in architecting or delivering AI/ML, LLM, RAG, conversational AI, agentic AI, or AI-driven automation solutions.

• Knowledge of algorithms, object-oriented programming, functional design principles, software architecture, and API-based integration methodologies.

• Experience with prompt engineering, context management, tokens, embeddings, vector search, RAG, tool usage, structured outputs, and model evaluation.

• Proficiency in using Pandas, NumPy, Matplotlib, and Seaborn.

• Practical experience with AWS, Azure, and/or Google Cloud platforms.

• Familiarity with Apache Spark and Snowflake.

• Experience in NLP using Hugging Face, transformer models, cloud AI services, or similar technologies.

• Understanding of database management, query optimization, data warehousing, ETL/ELT pipelines, and data quality practices.

• Proficient with Tableau and Power BI.

• Knowledge of responsible AI practices, privacy, security, human oversight, hallucination mitigation, prompt-injection defenses, model limitations, and governed deployment.

• Strong analytical, architectural, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.

• Capability to collaborate with client, consulting, engineering, product, data, and AI/ML teams.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning, Engineering, or a related technical field; relevant equivalent experience will also be considered.
