This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Initiate and oversee the lifecycle of agents appointed with American Income Life Insurance Company.
• Maintain direct communication with Departments of Insurance, agents, and departmental vendors through phone, email, and written correspondence.
• Collect, cleanse, record, and retrieve data from various sources.
• Independently evaluate source documents and verify their accuracy.
• Update both internal and external systems as necessary.
• Prepare reports and manage data storage and retrieval systems effectively.
• Issue agent numbers, handle activations, terminations, and non-codes.
• Review and update Agent Automation for rehires and approvals.
• Process state appointments, terminations, and expired licenses.
• Verify and update biographical, demographic, and banking information.
• Process promotions, demotions, transfers, and splits as required.
• Maintain error reporting and perform corrections for rejects.
• Ensure hierarchies are in place to support accurate commission payments.
• Manage and secure sensitive information related to agents and payments.
• Monitor group email inboxes and respond in a timely manner.
• Address phone calls and emails, resolving complex issues and providing alternative solutions.
• Communicate with state insurance boards, agents, management, external vendors, and the Department of Insurance.
• Report workflow issues, interdepartmental matters, emergencies, or unsafe situations to the supervisor.
• Engage in licensing systems testing and implementation processes.
• Analyze and process state invoices as needed.
• Assist with filing, sorting, scanning, mail distribution, and handling returned mail.
• Participate in state audits focused on mass data accuracy and timely evaluations.
• Review compliance vendor information and recommend updates.
• Assist with departmental communications directed at agents.
• Conduct periodic data evaluations and update records accordingly.
• Perform additional duties and projects as assigned.
• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum of 2 years of office experience is necessary.
• An insurance background, particularly in Agent Licensing, is desirable.
• Experience in database management is highly beneficial.
• A college degree is preferred.
• Accounting experience is also preferred.
