After-School Math Tutor, Grades 1-4

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Provide individualized online math instruction for students in Grades 1-4 throughout North America, adhering to the CCSS framework.

• Instruct in English utilizing engaging and interactive teaching methods to enhance student involvement, deepen understanding of core concepts, and address inquiries in real-time.

• Develop lesson materials tailored to the unique needs of each student, ensuring organized and high-quality educational experiences.

• Offer prompt feedback and focused support to facilitate student comprehension and ongoing progress.

• Exhibit patience and kindness when interacting with young learners, adapting communication styles to maintain engagement and motivation among lower elementary students.

• Assist with project testing and contribute to the continuous development of the curriculum.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree or higher; degrees in Math, Education, or related fields are preferred.

• Previous teaching experience or possession of a valid teaching certificate is highly desirable.

• Must be available and willing to work during weekday evenings and weekends (US time zones).

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.

• Proficiency in Mandarin Chinese is preferred.
