This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Oversee the complete AEM solution design and offer architectural guidance throughout the entire project lifecycle.
• Collaborate with client stakeholders, business analysts, QA, developers, DevOps teams, and third-party vendors to clarify requirements and synchronize implementation strategies.
• Develop and maintain architecture diagrams, technical solution designs, integration designs, and documentation for the project.
• Design scalable and secure integrations between AEM and various platforms including commerce, CRM, ERP, analytics, and marketing.
• Convert business and technical requirements into modular AEM solutions, implementation patterns, and actionable guidance.
• Mentor developers, assess technical approaches and code, and address complex delivery impediments.
• Evaluate wireframes and design mockups for feasibility, component reuse, responsive behavior, cross-browser compatibility, and accessibility standards.
• Create AEM content workflows for the processes of creation, review, approval, and publication.
• Work with DevOps on CI/CD pipelines, automated deployments, release readiness, and change management activities.
• Engage in Agile ceremonies and monitor technical milestones, risks, dependencies, and delivery progress.
• Convey technical recommendations effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Provide estimates for technical efforts and planning insights for AEM projects.
• Mentor team members and disseminate AEM architecture and implementation best practices.
• Adapt to new clients, technologies, and project requirements.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in developing and delivering solutions using AEM Sites and AEM Assets.
• At least 3 years of experience in architecting enterprise-grade CMS or AEM implementations.
• Familiarity with AEM as a Cloud Service and/or Adobe Managed Services; experience with on-premises AEM environments is a plus.
• Strong proficiency in Java, HTTP, REST APIs, custom AEM components, templates, workflows, and integrations.
• Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and a modern front-end framework such as React or Vue.
• Proven experience leading complex implementations that involve multiple teams, technologies, or workstreams.
• Capability to create clear architecture diagrams and maintainable technical documentation.
• Hands-on ability to troubleshoot implementation issues, assess code and design decisions, and support delivery teams in overcoming obstacles.
• Excellent client-facing communication, presentation, collaboration, organizational, and independent problem-solving skills.
• Experience working in Agile delivery environments and utilizing source control, issue tracking, and documentation tools such as GitHub or Bitbucket, Jira, and Confluence.
• Experience integrating AEM with Adobe Commerce, Salesforce Commerce, or another enterprise commerce platform.
• Familiarity with Adobe Analytics, Adobe Target, Adobe Campaign, or other Adobe Experience Cloud products.
• Experience in supporting technical discovery, solution presentations, or pre-sales engagements.
• Adobe AEM certification.
