AEM and Adobe Target Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Lead the technical design and development processes for projects.

• Provide guidance to the engineering team while ensuring the quality of the code.

• Ensure that solutions are aligned with business objectives and technical standards.

• Collaborate with project managers and business stakeholders to comprehend requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

• Execute A/B testing using Adobe Target.

• Spearhead the design and implementation of AEM-based architectures that support digital marketing initiatives.

• Integrate AEM solutions with existing systems and third-party applications.

• Formulate caching and security strategies that involve Dispatcher, firewalls, and CDNs.

• Establish strategies for multi-site and multi-language web applications.

• Create and manage A/B and multivariate tests utilizing 6sense audience segmentation with Adobe Target and A4T.

• Manage access via Adobe Admin Console and oversee production deployments using Adobe Cloud Manager.

• Develop and supervise OSGI bundles, AEM templates, HTL/Sightly components and services, launches, workflows, localization features, AEM Mobile and Forms applications, as well as AEM DAM.

• Offer expert advice on AEM system engineering and promote engineering best practices.

• Oversee system architecture to ensure high availability, disaster recovery, caching, CDN, and persistence layers.

• Collaborate closely with Marketing to convert business needs into technical solutions.

• Provide continuous technical support to the business and AEM engineering, functional SMEs, and business analysis teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.

• Over 10 years of hands-on AEM development experience.

• Solid foundation in Java, Sling, OSGi, JCR, and Apache Web Server.

• More than 5 years of experience leading AEM architecture and delivery teams in client-facing applications.

• Proficient in AEM architecture, digital marketing integrations, caching, security, Dispatcher, firewalls, and CDNs.

• Experience in supporting multi-site and multi-language web applications.

• Familiarity with Adobe Target, A4T, Audience Segmentation, Adobe Experience Manager, Adobe Launch, Adobe Analytics, and Customer Journey Analytics.

• Experience with integrating third-party applications such as Salesforce, OneTrust, and 6sense.

• Knowledge of Adobe Admin Console, Adobe Support, and Adobe Cloud Manager.

• Full-stack development experience with system and application design.

• Experience with OSGI bundles, AEM templates, HTL/Sightly components and services, launches, workflows, localization, AEM Mobile and Forms, and AEM DAM.

• Proficient in components, templates, taxonomy, metadata management, replication, workflows, content publishing, tagging, Maven deployment, and content migration planning.

• Experience with Vue.js or React and AEM backend frameworks, including OSGI, Sling, and Sightly.

• Proven success in launching enterprise-level platforms using AEM Cloud Service or AEM 6.5.

• Familiarity with Agile methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban, as well as test-driven development.
