A&E Regional Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Act as a reliable technical consultant for architects, engineers, and security advisors.

• Facilitate technical discussions regarding networked physical security, cybersecurity, and system architecture.

• Foster consultative partnerships with the A&E community to ensure Axis is included in project specifications.

• Conduct high-quality in-person and virtual meetings throughout the region.

• Enhance the Axis A&E Program through focused outreach, training, and networking efforts.

• Collaborate with Regional Sales Managers, Inside Sales, and the A&E Program Manager on strategic projects and customer requirements.

• Showcase and advocate for Axis Site Designer, Autodesk Revit plugins, and other digital design tools.

• Represent Axis at security conferences, trade exhibitions, and regional A&E summits.

• Develop and implement a regional business strategy.

• Maintain CRM records and report on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).

• Cover the New England region and Upstate New York, with frequent visits to Albany, Rochester, and Buffalo.


⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 10 years in physical security, preferably with experience in technical presales, integration, or consulting.

• Proven history of proactive, self-directed business development or field sales.

• Strong understanding of IP-based security systems, including video surveillance, access control, and intercom systems.

• Solid knowledge of networking, system design, and cybersecurity concepts.

• Capability to communicate effectively with engineers and business decision-makers.

• Proficiency in Salesforce or CRM systems.

• Organized approach to territory management.

• Strong public speaking and relationship-building abilities.

• Experience collaborating with architectural and engineering firms.

• Axis certifications or familiarity with Axis tools and software are preferred.

• Reside in or near Boston, Massachusetts, as the primary location.

• Willingness to travel approximately 50% of the time.

• Ability to occasionally lift 20–25 lbs.

• Must successfully pass any required background checks.
