This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Provide advisory, drafting, and advocacy services to insurer and corporate clients.

• Complete a customized training program focused on county court procedures, law, and litigation strategies.

• Shadow seasoned team members to gain practical insights.

• Draft and prepare case materials.

• Attend court proceedings as necessary.

• Report on and analyze case outcomes.

• Engage in drafting, advisory, and court-related tasks under supervision once approved.

• Gradually expand the complexity and scope of work based on rights of audience.

• Cultivate advocacy and litigation skills.

⛳️ Requirements

• Committed to a career at the Employed Bar.

• Hold an LLB degree (or equivalent qualification).

• Have completed the BPTC (or equivalent qualification).

• Previous advocacy experience is advantageous but not mandatory.

• Prior paralegal or litigation experience, especially in one of the specified practice areas, is preferred but not essential.

• Candidates from North West England are encouraged to apply.

• Rights of audience relevant to the tasks performed.
