This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Michigan.
• Collaborate with client management to create intricate technical solutions.
• Keep client management informed about advancements in technical support products.
• Assess products and upgrades for suitability.
• Supervise and execute strategies for system upgrades.
• Direct the design, implementation, and upkeep of complex solutions.
• Coordinate efforts with other technical staff.
• Develop and evaluate complex system standards, thresholds, and recommendations to optimize system performance.
• Conduct capacity planning reviews with management and approve capacity plans devised by less experienced staff.
• Formulate strategies for applying support packages and patches.
• Oversee database maintenance and offer recommendations.
• Collaborate with business development teams on proposals and work estimates for intricate system administration projects and solutions.
• Investigate current systems technology and act as a subject matter expert on complex systems processes and procedures.
• Provide technical leadership during complex system installation processes.
• Mentor and guide junior personnel.
• Offer technical leadership in complex system administration tasks.
• Deliver technical solutions and elevated support for non-routine, complex technical challenges.
• Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Preferred: Bachelor's degree in computer science, management information systems, or a related field.
• A minimum of nine years of technical experience in a client-server environment.
• Experience in highly complex systems administration, database administration, and landscape maintenance.
• Familiarity with company products and services.
• Experience with company and client documentation and storage protocols.
• Background in highly complex system implementations and organizational processes.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Leadership skills to mentor and guide less experienced staff.
• Strong communication abilities.
• Proficient in personal computer and business solutions software.
• Capability to lead and collaborate within a team.
• Video cameras must be used during all interviews and throughout the initial week of orientation.
