Advisor, Project Management

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Support the progress of projects as Gainwell aids clients in achieving improved health and human services outcomes via technology and innovation.

• Oversee one or more large project management teams by deconstructing larger technological programs and facilitating project staffing.

• Direct project planning, monitoring, and supervision of assigned personnel.

• Provide guidance and establish deadlines to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and on time.

• Liaise with clients, company leadership, and project team leaders.

• Assess and communicate project metrics and status, suggesting program modifications when necessary.

• Develop project timelines, program definitions, budgets, and objectives throughout all project stages.

• Manage projects involving non-direct reports.

• Identify risks and implement strategies for risk mitigation.

• Draft detailed Statements of Work (SOWs) and assist in proposal efforts and business development initiatives.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 9 years of experience in managing complex projects, programs, or initiatives throughout the complete project management life cycle.

• Preferably 3 or more years of experience in Medicaid or Medicare.

• Proficient in project management methodologies such as Catalyst or holding a Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) designation.

• Contemporary understanding of budget development, monitoring, and assurance methods.

• Familiarity with project management software.

• Capability to translate broader program goals into clear and attainable project scopes and milestones.

• Ability to train, coach, and mentor junior team members.

• Strong skills in executive presentations.

• Proficient in communicating project priorities and inspiring direct and indirect networks and stakeholders to take action.
