This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Deliver strategic insights and leadership regarding health outcomes evidence requirements for Lilly’s portfolio.
• Leverage expertise in health outcomes disciplines, knowledge of therapeutic areas, drug development, commercialization, and understanding of geographic markets.
• Take ownership and execute research initiatives.
• Create product value propositions, strategies for patient-reported outcomes, real-world evidence generation, and differentiation approaches.
• Facilitate the integration of Health Economics and Outcomes Research (HEOR) from early clinical development through to commercialization.
• Design and manage health outcomes research strategies for portfolio compounds.
• Act as an HEOR strategic partner on lead and core teams.
• Develop and implement strategies focused on Patient-Centered Outcomes, Real-World Evidence, and economic value.
• Set HEOR standards throughout the oncology portfolio.
• Generate and execute impactful scientific initiatives across the product lifecycle.
• Utilize technical proficiency in statistical analysis, economic modeling, clinical trials, patient-focused outcomes, observational/epidemiologic research, and health technology or value assessment.
• Employ disease-state knowledge and research methodologies to address registration, pricing, reimbursement, and access concerns.
• Lead the planning and implementation of evidence with cross-functional teams.
• Influence business partners regarding HEOR priorities, trade-offs, and recommendations.
• Provide consultation and strategic guidance on maximizing HEOR across the organization.
• Manage business partner inquiries effectively.
• Convey health outcomes information to internal stakeholders, the scientific community, and customers.
• Oversee research dissemination through abstracts, posters, presentations, promotional materials, and manuscripts.
• Propel the application of research findings and deliverables.
• Keep abreast of developments, market demands, trends, and external factors impacting health outcomes research.
• Ensure projects adhere to timelines, budgets, and scopes by collaborating with Lilly partners and external collaborators.
• Doctorate (PhD, MD) with 3-5 years of experience in developing, executing, and delivering outcomes strategies/projects OR PharmD/MS degree with similar experience.
• Strong comprehension and communication capabilities, including the ability to clearly and concisely translate and disseminate intricate scientific information.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven ability to influence and collaborate within and across teams.
• Documented experience in establishing and leading HEOR strategies across a portfolio or therapeutic area.
• Proven ability to drive research agendas to completion and dissemination.
• Capacity to think and act globally with a customer-centric and solution-oriented approach.
• Willingness to travel 10–25% domestically and internationally.
