This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.
• Participate in and oversee the administrative components of CHEER programs and grants.
• Engage with program participants, researchers, student research assistants, and research personnel.
• Assist in recruiting participants and coordinating meeting schedules.
• Administer surveys and create, organize, and maintain program documents.
• Input and update data, manage databases, and generate reports.
• Maintain communication with participating sites to ensure accurate and timely data collection.
• Organize files for participating sites.
• Aid in documenting financial and budget requirements for grants.
• Support the preparation of data and other reporting documents.
• Manage program records and communication needs.
• Assist in the development of reports, presentations, and data analysis.
• Create and edit multimedia content, including short video clips, training videos, and digital resources.
• Help in developing, scheduling, and publishing content for social media, including calendars, graphics, text, and platform postings.
• Assist in data collection and provide updates on progress.
• Schedule meetings with participants and conduct reminder communications.
• Review data collection forms and verify the accuracy and timeliness of junior staff data entry.
• Provide technical support to junior staff members.
• Conduct literature searches.
• Assist researchers with the preparation of manuscripts, presentations, and research materials.
• Participate in staff meetings, quality improvement initiatives, and educational activities.
• Perform office-related duties such as answering phones, managing email accounts, handling mail and faxes, scanning, filing, photocopying, ordering supplies, and maintaining policy manuals.
• A Bachelor’s degree is required by the time of hire.
• A major in a field related to the research is highly preferred.
• A minimum of one to two years of experience in the public health field is preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience in recruiting subjects, with an understanding of ethical and technical research conduct.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
• Cultural sensitivity and comfort working with a diverse range of social, racial, and ethnic groups.
• Strong organizational skills to efficiently manage multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to perform basic data management tasks, including coding, data entry, data cleaning, and retrieval.
• Capability to conduct basic data analysis and reporting using words, numbers, and graphics.
• Experience in creating and managing social media content across various platforms.
• Proficiency in graphic design and multimedia tools such as Canva or Adobe Creative Suite.
• Experience in editing short-form videos and creating educational or training videos for digital audiences.
• Bilingual or multilingual skills in Spanish are preferred.
• Experience with statistical analysis tools is a plus.
