Advanced Technology Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Plans, executes, and concludes technology projects on schedule and within the allocated budget.

• Develops and sustains project plans, timelines, work breakdown structures, and resource allocations.

• Identifies, monitors, and mitigates project risks, issues, and dependencies.

• Coordinates the efforts of developers, database personnel, testers, and other technical team members.

• Acts as the primary liaison for client stakeholders regarding project status and decisions.

• Prepares status reports, briefings, and project deliverables.

• Manages change requests and ensures project documentation is kept up to date.

• Performs additional duties as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field is required.

• Over 8 years of IT project management experience, including leading technology implementation or modernization initiatives.

• Familiarity with both Agile and Waterfall delivery methodologies.

• Proficient in project management tools such as Microsoft Project, Jira, or similar software.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to brief senior stakeholders.

• Capability to work independently in a remote setting.

• Regularly required to utilize common office equipment including, but not limited to, computers, phones, scanners, and printers.

• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is preferred.

• Experience with federal government contracts is preferred.

• Agile certification, such as PMI-ACP or Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), is preferred.
