Advanced Technology & Innovation Leader – Medical Imaging

📋 Description

• Oversee the development and implementation of the Advanced Technology & Innovation roadmap.

• Ensure that innovation initiatives are in line with business and clinical priorities.

• Act as a senior technical consultant on innovation strategies and future technology investments.

• Identify, assess, and promote emerging technologies focusing on AI, advanced algorithms, imaging, biomedical optics, computational modeling, and data-driven solutions.

• Propel innovation from the concept and feasibility stages through to product development and commercialization.

• Offer technical leadership in strategic technology platforms and product initiatives.

• Assist in prototyping, algorithm development, system design, and the transition of technologies into regulated medical devices.

• Build, lead, and mentor a diverse Advanced Technology team.

• Recruit and cultivate engineering and scientific talent while utilizing global capabilities and external partnerships.

• Collaborate with Intellectual Property teams on invention disclosures, patent development, and assessments of the technology landscape.


⛳️ Requirements

• Significant experience in developing innovative medical devices and/or medical imaging technologies.

• Proven success in translating research and innovation into commercial products.

• Established record of leading multidisciplinary engineering teams.

• Extensive knowledge in one or more areas: AI/Machine Learning, Medical Imaging, Biomedical Optics, Advanced Algorithms, and Computational Modeling.

• PhD in Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Optical Engineering, Applied Physics, or a related field; a Master’s degree with considerable relevant industry experience will also be taken into account.

• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.

• Authorization to work in the US is required; candidates needing sponsorship now or in the future will not be considered.

• Capability to fulfill minimum physical, cognitive, and environmental job requirements with or without accommodation.
