Advanced Specialist, Project Management

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Oversee cross-functional initiatives related to product development and business transformation, from the initial discovery phase through to delivery and transition to operations.

• Create cohesive plans that span across waterfall, Agile, and hybrid delivery frameworks.

• Deliver evidence-based reports for project teams, sponsors, governance forums, Finance, and senior leadership.

• Assist in strategic planning, budget formulation, forecasting, tracking actuals, project coding, capacity planning, and conducting portfolio reviews.

• Develop and enhance tools, reports, and dashboards for better project visibility.

• Collaborate with Finance on financial reporting, project and capacity updates, project coding, visibility, and troubleshooting issues.

• Identify process challenges and opportunities to enhance cycle time, quality, cost efficiency, scalability, and user experience through automation, AI, and modernization efforts.

• Conduct current-state assessments, root-cause analyses, future-state designs, pilot initiatives, implementations, measurements, and ongoing refinements.

• Standardize, manage, and modernize the process library across various development workflows.

• Identify and prioritize opportunities for responsible AI and automation that are linked to measurable outcomes.

• Partner with subject-matter experts, data and technology teams, security, privacy, legal, and governance partners to craft safe solutions.

• Prototype, assess, and implement AI-enabled workflows, agents, copilots, or automation, ensuring quality criteria, human oversight, testing, and evidence-based decision-making.

• Drive change through stakeholder analysis, effective communication, involvement strategies, training, adoption measures, and reinforcement of new practices.

• Share best practices, mentor colleagues, and enhance project, program, business analysis, process improvement, and AI-enabled delivery capabilities.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven track record in leading complex projects or programs with responsibility for scope, schedule, budget, quality, risk, dependencies, stakeholder alignment, and measurable results.

• Background in business analysis, process improvement, operational transformation, or a related field.

• Hands-on experience utilizing AI, automation, analytics, or digital tools to enhance business operations; capable of articulating what was developed or implemented, how it was assessed, and the resultant business outcomes.

• Strong financial and data literacy skills, including the ability to reconcile information, identify trends or anomalies, perform clear analyses, and communicate their implications effectively.

• Advanced skills in Microsoft 365.

• Proficiency in Excel is essential.

• Familiarity with Power BI, Power Automate, Copilot, Visio, SharePoint, project management software, Azure DevOps, LLMs, prototyping tools, or similar platforms.

• Exceptional written, verbal, facilitation, and executive communication abilities.

• Capability to manage competing priorities, work independently, apply sound judgment, and bring order to ambiguous situations.

• Preferred: experience in assessment, publishing, product development, research operations, or another complex knowledge-work environment.

• Preferred: experience in collaborating with global teams.

• Preferred: working knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, design thinking, process engineering, change management, data visualization, or benefits realization methodologies.

• Preferred: possession of PMP, PgMP, Agile, product, data, or AI-related certifications, or a willingness to pursue relevant professional development.

• Preferred: experience in supporting responsible AI practices, covering aspects such as privacy, security, intellectual property, human oversight, quality assessment, and risk management.
