This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.
• Provide support, scope, and counsel to sales and customer experience teams regarding options for the creation and delivery of customized products.
• Interpret project handovers, offering insights on solution feasibility and securing access options for digital products.
• Oversee assigned bespoke print, eBook, and digital courseware projects, prioritizing competing initiatives to deliver precise and professional products within timelines and budgets.
• Report on production status to the line manager and key stakeholders.
• Address project-specific issues and communicate any delays or milestones achieved.
• Manage the production process, quality assurance, and risk mitigation strategies.
• Monitor third parties, stakeholders, and internal teams to ensure timely completion of tasks.
• Administer project budgets and identify potential cost overruns.
• Ensure adherence to QA testing, user-centered design, and other best practices.
• Propose process improvements and maintain relevant documentation.
• Keep abreast of developments in Pearson products, platforms, and technology, assessing their implications for local markets.
• Provide updates to broader Sales teams as part of ongoing training and support initiatives.
• Track and give feedback on the work of vendors and internal teams.
• Brief vendors and assess when outsourcing is not appropriate.
• Collaborate with Rights and Permissions to ensure content compliance prior to publication.
• Supervise budgets to ensure financial targets are consistently met.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent educational background.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Formal training in computing or the delivery of digital content.
• Formal training in project management.
• At least 4 years of relevant work experience.
• Proven experience in project management, especially in overseeing the production and delivery of digital content.
• Ability to manage multiple digital projects within tight deadlines.
• Experience within educational publishing or with educational software, including editorial content experience.
• Skilled in managing project budgets effectively.
• Experience in vendor management, including drafting briefs and purchase orders.
• Demonstrates ethical behavior and integrity, aligning with Pearson's core values, beliefs, and codes of conduct.
