Advanced Practice Provider

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Prescribe medications to assist patients in overcoming dependencies, adapting to life changes, or achieving positive outcomes for their psychiatric well-being.

• Prepare and maintain necessary treatment records and reports to meet Joint Commission accreditation standards, insurance requirements, and the Adjuvant Behavioral Health Operations Manual.

• Assess clients' physical or mental health conditions through the review of their information.

• Collaborate with team members to conduct clinical assessments and formulate treatment plans.

• Refer patients, clients, or their families to ABH IOP, community resources, or specialists as needed.

• Adjust treatment activities or methods in response to any changes in clients' conditions.

• Complete all administrative documentation for each client, encompassing intake notes, progress notes, lab orders, and e-prescribing records.

• Coordinate prescriptive clinical services in alignment with Adjuvant’s clinical guidance.

• Report directly to the ABH Supervising Psychiatrist.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Master’s degree in Nursing (MSN) from an accredited institution.

• ANCC - Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing (PMHNP) certification.

• Possess a valid DEA registration.

• NP or APRN with PMHNP certification (Psych/Mental Cert) preferred.

• Capability to provide prescriptive clinical services and manage psychiatric medications.

• Competence in preparing and maintaining treatment records and reports for Joint Commission accreditation, insurance providers, and Adjuvant Behavioral Health operational needs.

• Ability to evaluate clients' physical or mental health conditions based on the provided information.

• Skill in collaborating on clinical assessments and developing treatment plans.

• Proficiency in completing administrative documentation, including intake notes, progress notes, lab orders, and e-prescribing records.
