This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.
• Serve as the contract leader and Subject Matter Expert for project teams within the nuclear portfolio.
• Assist in proposal activities by analyzing Requests For Proposals.
• Ensure completion of contract reviews and compliance matrices prior to the submission of proposals or the commencement of execution activities.
• Evaluate financial and business risks associated with proposed initiatives.
• Engage in proposal team meetings.
• Draft terms, conditions, and assumptions for proposals.
• Collaborate with commercial teams and clients to clarify relevant regulations during contract execution.
• Complete necessary filings and reporting for contract performance.
• Innovate approaches and solutions to contracting challenges throughout the acquisition cycle.
• Assist sourcing efforts with flow-down packages for subcontractors and suppliers.
• Support and guide project teams during contract execution to ensure adherence to procurement regulations.
• Contribute to GE Vernova's strategy for business growth.
• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university or college.
• At least 7 years of experience in contract management.
• Familiarity with various contract types such as Firm Fixed Price (FFP), Cost Plus Fixed Fee (CPFF), Cooperative Agreements, EPC, and contract change management.
• Experience in researching compliance issues, applicable regulations and laws, and providing recommendations to management.
• Proven experience in negotiating with international government markets.
• Demonstrated ability to draft and negotiate contractual terms.
• Excellent writing and oral communication skills, with the ability to influence effectively.
• Capability to concurrently handle multiple issues and clients while navigating a matrixed organization efficiently.
• Experience in power industry contracting, directly interfacing with government entities or prime contractors.
• Eligibility to obtain authorization for access to U.S. export-controlled information, if necessary.
