
Advanced Nuclear Contracts Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.
• Lead and provide expertise in contracts as the Subject Matter Expert for project teams within the nuclear portfolio.
• Assist in proposal efforts, including analyzing Requests for Proposals, reviewing contracts, creating compliance matrices, conducting risk assessments, organizing proposal team meetings, and drafting terms, conditions, and assumptions.
• Collaborate with commercial teams and clients to ensure a clear understanding of relevant regulations throughout the contract execution process.
• Oversee the necessary filings and reporting essential for contract performance.
• Create innovative strategies and solutions to address contracting challenges during the acquisition cycle.
• Support sourcing initiatives by developing flow-down packages for subcontractors and suppliers.
• Advise project teams during contract execution to guarantee adherence to procurement regulations.
• Assist GE Vernova in refining strategies to expand the business.
• Bachelor's Degree from a recognized university or college.
• At least 7 years of experience in contract management.
• Familiarity with a variety of contract types, such as Firm Fixed Price (FFP), Cost Plus Fixed Fee (CPFF), Cooperative Agreements, EPC, and contract change management.
• Experience in researching compliance issues, applicable regulations and laws, and providing recommendations to management.
• Proven experience negotiating within international government markets.
• Demonstrated ability to draft and negotiate contractual terms.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence others.
• Capable of managing multiple issues and clients simultaneously while effectively navigating a matrixed organization.
• Experience in the power industry contracting, directly engaging with government entities or prime contractors.
• Eligibility to obtain authorization for access to U.S. export-controlled information, if required.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States.
