This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Costa Rica, +1 more country.
β’ Assess and evaluate image data to guarantee clarity, completeness, quality, and alignment with study requirements.
β’ Confirm compliance of image data with clinical trial protocols, imaging guidelines, and project specifications.
β’ Create image queries and collaborate with sponsors, internal teams, and investigative sites to address imaging quality concerns.
β’ Offer detailed technical feedback and guidance to clinical research sites via Microsoft Teams meetings, email communications, and other study support channels.
β’ Assist in study startup activities, emphasizing site readiness, site qualification, and implementation of imaging protocols.
β’ Conduct site initiation and technical training sessions focused on image acquisition procedures, protocol compliance, image transmission, and data archival requirements.
β’ Act as a technical resource for advanced MRI acquisitions, including musculoskeletal, liver, and other specialized MRI techniques.
β’ Assess site imaging capabilities, equipment, workflows, and technical processes.
β’ Aid in the development and review of imaging manuals, acquisition guidelines, site training materials, and study documentation.
β’ Execute imaging measurements and protocol reader activities as required.
β’ Review and compile imaging data packages for client and regulatory submissions.
β’ Assist with image archiving, study closeout activities, and departmental quality initiatives.
β’ Engage in user acceptance testing, process enhancements, and continuous improvement of imaging review practices.
β’ Help train new employees and foster a collaborative team environment.
β’ Current board certification in MRI or relevant imaging modality.
β’ Completion of MRI modality-specific training.
β’ At least 2 years of experience as an MRI Technologist in an imaging center, clinical research environment, or similar healthcare setting.
β’ Demonstrated experience in performing advanced MRI acquisitions, including musculoskeletal imaging, liver imaging, and other specialized MRI techniques.
β’ Strong understanding of MRI protocols, image quality evaluation, and best practices in imaging.
β’ Preferred experience supporting clinical trials, research studies, pharmaceutical organizations, or imaging core laboratories.
β’ Proficient in using Microsoft Office applications and other computer-based systems.
β’ Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to clearly explain technical concepts to site personnel and study stakeholders.
β’ Proven capability to deliver training, education, and technical support in virtual and remote settings.
β’ Exceptional attention to detail and a strong commitment to quality.
β’ Effective organizational, prioritization, and problem-solving skills.
β’ Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
