Advanced Healthcare Implementation Engineer – Health Information Systems

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Saudi Arabia.

📋 Description

• Create and implement secure, scalable integrations between Solventum solutions and healthcare systems of customers.

• Define, set up, test, and resolve issues with interfaces utilizing HL7, FHIR, APIs, and various interoperability standards.

• Perform technical discovery to gain insights into customer environments, infrastructures, workflows, and integration needs.

• Convert business and technical requirements into actionable implementation strategies.

• Customize Solventum solutions to meet specific operational and clinical needs of customers.

• Oversee technical validation, testing, defect analysis, issue resolution, and readiness for deployment.

• Facilitate successful customer go-lives and ensure seamless operational transitions.

• Act as a point of escalation for technical challenges during and post-implementation.

• Identify problems, ascertain root causes, apply sustainable solutions, and promote continuous improvement.

• Document implementation knowledge, best practices, and lessons learned.

• Collaborate with support, engineering, product management, and implementation teams to enhance delivery quality, operational readiness, and customer results.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Health Informatics, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

• Over 5 years of experience in implementing, integrating, supporting, or delivering healthcare technology solutions.

• Familiarity with healthcare interoperability standards, customer technical stakeholders, or healthcare information systems in public, private, government, or military settings.

• Experience with implementing enterprise software solutions within healthcare contexts.

• Knowledge of EMR/EHR platforms such as Epic, Oracle Health (Cerner), Altera, Meditech, or comparable systems.

• Proficiency with interface engines, integration platforms, SaaS deployments, cloud-hosted solutions, networking fundamentals, or identity management concepts.

• Background in supporting technical discovery, requirements analysis, solution configuration, testing, validation, go-live readiness, and production support activities.

• Capability to perform root cause analysis, document implementation knowledge, and share lessons learned.

• Understanding of healthcare data privacy, security, and regulatory standards.

• Professional working proficiency in Arabic.

• Experience collaborating directly with customer IT teams, technical stakeholders, and third-party vendors.

• Familiarity with HL7 v2.x, FHIR, APIs, and data exchange workflows.

• Background in troubleshooting complex technical issues across applications, integrations, and infrastructure components.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to manage multiple customer engagements and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

• Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status.
