Advanced Associate, Scoring Service

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Take full ownership of all content and quality deliverables for designated scoring projects from initiation to post-project evaluation.

• Create and present item-specific training sessions for Scoring Directors, Supervisors, and Scorers.

• Mentor and support scoring staff regarding project-specific content and quality standards.

• Utilize state and national ELA and Social Studies standards to create scoring materials.

• Act as the subject matter expert during discussions with clients and educators.

• Maintain consistent daily communication with both internal teams and external clients.

• Achieve or surpass quality, efficiency, and delivery objectives.

• Build and sustain an engaged and effective team of Scoring Directors and Supervisors.

• Foster collaborative relationships with project managers and external clients as a trusted content authority.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree is required; a degree in English, Social Sciences, or Humanities is highly preferred.

• A minimum of two (2) years of experience in the assessment industry as a Scoring Director or in a comparable leadership role.

• Proven experience in leading remote scoring teams across various ELA/Social Studies projects.

• Strong understanding of scoring reports and data-driven management practices.

• Exceptional leadership, organizational, and communication abilities.

• Proficient with technology, including Microsoft Office and video conferencing platforms.

• Must maintain a safe, secure, professional, and productive home office setting.

• Ability to work a flexible schedule, which may include early mornings, late evenings, or weekends to meet project deadlines and collaborate across time zones.

• Occasional travel of about 5-10% may be necessary.
