ADS, IDMS Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Become a key member of the development team and take responsibility for development tasks for each Sprint.

• Engage in development activities, encompassing analysis and design, programming, testing, and requirements gathering.

• Oversee your own workload and promptly inform the team of any delays or obstacles.

• Operate within the environment and execute programming tasks related to the ADS/IDMS specialty.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a technology-related discipline.

• Demonstrated professional experience in the industry.

• Familiarity with banking systems development.

• Understanding of agile development principles and practices, including the Agile Manifesto, Scrum, Extreme Programming (XP), and Kanban.

• Proficiency in functional, non-functional, and agile requirements analysis.

• Expertise in data modeling.

• Awareness of User Experience (UX) and usability concepts.

• Knowledge of continuous integration, Gradle, Maven, Nexus, Jenkins, TDD, specification by example, refactoring, and continuous delivery.

• Experience in software testing and automation of functional, unit, and load tests.

• Proficiency in SQL and NoSQL database queries.

• Familiarity with version control systems and tools like ClearCase, Eclipse, and CA ENDEVOR.

• Understanding of online and batch applications, CICS, TSO, and JCL.

• Experience with testing and automation in z/OS environments using DB2, IBM MQ, and COBOL.

• Skills in Enterprise COBOL 4.0 or higher and DB2 SQL PL.

• Knowledge of the IBM platform: z/OS, DB2, IBM MQ, CICS, JCL, TSO, MainView, Strobe, and Control-M.

• Experience as an analyst on mainframe platforms.

• Knowledge of relational database modeling and performance analysis.

• Familiarity with VSAM files.

• Understanding of SOA and REST/RESTful Web Service architecture.

• Awareness of code quality and performance analysis for mainframe applications.

• Experience with access interfaces for IBM Integration Bus (Broker), IBM MQ, and CICS/WEB.
