Admitting Privileges Provider – MD/DO

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Tennessee.

📋 Description

• Assist with patient intakes following counselor evaluations.

• Oversee patients’ clinical development during routine group counseling sessions.

• Respond to patient inquiries and manage medication dosing.

• Authorize patient prescriptions during monthly appointments with patient panels.

• Complete notes and reporting in the Groups EMR system within specified timelines.

• Collaborate with Recover Together to acquire and/or maintain admitting privileges.

• Complete and submit all necessary applications and documentation.

• Provide accurate, up-to-date, and comprehensive credentialing information.

• Engage in facility interviews, orientations, and follow-up requests.

• Maintain all required licensure, certifications, qualifications, and hospital admitting privileges.

• Concentrate on medical management within Groups’ protocol-driven, technology-enhanced clinical system.

⛳️ Requirements

• An active, unencumbered MD/DO state license in Tennessee.

• An active individual DEA with an address registered in Tennessee.

• DEAX designation formerly required to prescribe Buprenorphine, or proof of 8 hours of qualified SAMHSA-assigned training.

• At least 1 year of experience actively prescribing Buprenorphine.

• Maintain hospital admitting privileges at a TJC, DNV NIAHO, CIHQ, or ACHC accredited facility.

• Active board certification (MD or DO; any specialty).

• Eligibility for hours begins approximately 10–12 weeks after the start of credentialing and training.
