Admissions Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.

📋 Description

• Facilitate enrollment processes from the initial inquiry to the final enrollment of BSON students.

• Evaluate student requirements and illustrate how BSON can assist in achieving personal, academic, and professional objectives.

• Serve as a liaison with collaborating departments while providing student service and support.

• Engage with prospective students through follow-up communication via phone, email, text, and in-person outreach throughout the admissions process.

• Gather applications, transcripts, and other necessary enrollment documents.

• Keep track of applicant contact information and next steps in the CRM system.

• Collaborate with faculty concerning applicant details and advocate for student interests.

• Organize, schedule, and conduct webinars for prospective students.

• Exhibit knowledge of program curricula, associated costs, financial aid options, career outcomes, and both full-time and part-time opportunities.

• Take part in open houses, accepted student days, local travel, and both in-person and virtual recruitment events.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.

• Minimum of two years of experience in admissions within a higher education environment.

• Experience in nursing or health education is highly preferred.

• Background in consultative sales or customer service.

• Knowledge of admissions data management systems, including Slate and Salesforce CRM.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.

• Strong organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.

• Proficient closing and follow-up capabilities.

• Capacity to manage multiple complex tasks at once.

• Ability to collaborate with a diverse range of stakeholders.

• Strong problem-solving abilities.

• Interest and competence in computer software applications.

• Capability to work independently as well as part of a team.

• Sensitivity to the needs and concerns of a diverse student population.
