Admissions Recruiter

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Develop and maintain relationships with churches, community colleges, as well as Christian and non-Christian secondary schools within a designated territory.

• Act as the University’s main point of contact for community partners and prospective students and their families.

• Establish and enhance partnerships with community colleges to support transfer-student pipelines, articulation agreements, and on-campus recruiting visits.

• Foster connections with counselors and staff at Christian and public/secular high schools.

• Represent the University at college fairs, career events, youth group gatherings, transfer fairs, and campus visits.

• Organize and implement recruitment events and presentations tailored to specific partner types.

• Professionally represent the University across various social media platforms, including Instagram and podcasts.

• Engage with prospective students and referral partners throughout the admissions process.

• Monitor and report on relationship-building activities and their impact on enrollment using the University’s CRM/admissions systems.

• Assess regional partnerships and adapt strategies to achieve enrollment objectives.

• Travel extensively within the assigned region, including evenings, weekends, and overnight trips.

• A solid understanding and appreciation of Christian higher education, with the ability to establish rapport across diverse faith backgrounds.

• A Bachelor's degree is mandatory.

• Exceptional relationship-building and interpersonal skills.

• Strong public speaking and presentation abilities.

• Self-motivated and adept at independently managing a geographically dispersed network.

• Willingness and capability to travel extensively, including evenings and weekends.

• Creative, enthusiastic, and goal-driven in a sales-oriented recruitment environment.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

• Experience with CRM/admissions software is required.

• Comfortable and responsible in representing the University on social media.

• Must have authorization to work for any employer in the U.S.

• Must be willing to travel extensively, including evenings, weekends, and overnight trips.
