This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Manage the relationship between Prepory and the parents and guardians of students from the initial orientation calls to the final admissions decisions.
• Facilitate new student orientation sessions while establishing clear expectations for the program.
• Conduct parent check-in meetings in collaboration with students' coaches.
• Engage proactively with parents and guardians to maintain open lines of communication.
• Act as the escalation point for family issues and challenging discussions.
• Guide college admissions coaches on effective client communication, addressing individual student needs, and navigating complex family dynamics.
• Work with coaches and program leadership to modify programming in response to the evolving needs of students.
• Present relevant Prepory offerings, such as college tours, UK admissions assistance, graduate and professional school admissions guidance, and enrichment and research planning.
• Manage family re-enrollments and lead discussions regarding renewals and additional programming.
• Promote referral and review strategies to enhance client engagement.
• Oversee a cohort of up to 15 students.
• Conduct regular one-on-one advising sessions, guiding students from profile development through to final decisions.
• Provide advice on personal statements, supplementary essays, and résumés.
• Monitor deadlines and delegate tasks to ensure students remain on track.
• Assist students in researching and creating well-balanced college lists.
• Report to the Client Success Director while collaborating with Program Directors, Program Managers, Enrollment, and coaching teams.
• Must have graduated from a selective or highly-selective college or university (preferably a top-50 national university or a top-20 liberal arts college).
• A minimum of three years of experience in college admissions, admissions consulting, or a closely related field is required.
• Experience working within an admissions office is highly advantageous.
• Possess a detailed and up-to-date understanding of the U.S. college admissions process.
• Willingness to adapt and stay informed as the U.S. college admissions landscape evolves.
• Prior experience in customer success, client engagement, account management, or consultative sales is essential.
• Proven ability to mentor, coach, or develop others, either formally or informally.
• Must be available to work at least one evening per week and 12 Saturdays or Sundays each year.
• Exceptional listening, speaking, writing, and grammar skills are required.
• Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail are necessary.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment, especially during peak seasons.
• Highly detail-oriented and goal-focused.
• Capable of working independently in a fast-paced and unstructured setting.
